Nodular cast iron for motorcycle sprocket and its heat treatment

Its properties are between steel and gray cast iron, and its strength is much higher than that of gray cast iron. It has good toughness and plasticity. It can replace steel gear in case of small impact. Pearlite and bainite nodular cast iron is mainly used, with the grade above qt500. Normalizing and tempering are generally used for heat treatment.
